The programme highlights of ARTMUSFAIR/2009 include:

- 4 high level conferences regarding broadcasting, commissioning, funding and protecting contemporary classical music;
- Project & Live music stages to help you present your projects and activities to the expert audience from all over Europe;
- A contemporary music exhibition that enables you to display and exhibit your music, scores, recordings and a whole range of other information
- 3 after-hour ARTMUSFAIR-late nite-lounges;
- A “Contemporary Music for Europe”- declaration aiming to establish an agenda for the future of contemporary music;
- Various networking opportunities all day long
In the recently designated UNESCO City of Music - Glasgow - the four day event coincides with celebrations of Scottish composer Sir Peter Maxwell Davies’ 75th birthday. The concert programme will feature symphonic concerts by the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, the Scottish Chamber Orchestra and the Royal Scottish National Orchestra as well as a number of performances of the very latest contemporary music by smaller Scottish, UK and European ensembles and by students from the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama.
